McCain has $47 million to spend in October

Presidential candidate John McCain spent $37 million in September for the campaign. This month he has a remaining $47 million to spend. huge money we’re talking here. The Federal Election Commission reported McCain spent around $22 million on advertising alone. He was trying to keep up with ads of Barack Obama. McCain participated in the election public financing system and got $84 million from the treasury. Obama on the other hand, is outspending McCain this October in advertisements, 4-1 ratio. maCain undeniably received support from the Republican National Committee, which was able to raise $66 million dollars last September. That would mean, that by the start of the month, they had more than $124 million on hand. The party have parted with the costs of hybrid ads that criticized Obama and the Democrats in Congress. McCain’s campaign manager Rick Davis siad that by Election day, the party would have spent a staggerin $400 million for the two-month campaign.
